Ruby launched Salt & Light Pastry Co. in 2018 after a fulfilling career as a Restaurant Pastry Chef in New Orleans. Her desire to bring the flavor complexity and ingredient focus of restaurant pastry to the bakery industry has been wildly successful. Ruby is now creating visually stunning desserts that are full of unique natural flavors, fresh flowers and joyous decorations. Whether a large corporate event, local community market or intimate personal occasion, the elements of both taste and design are customized to suit. Ruby has been featured in several magazine articles and has appeared on Food Network's Spring Baking Championship.
